Bruce B. Hart is an attorney whose practice is dedicated to estate planning and asset protection. He is a member of the National Network of Estate Planning attorneys (NNEPA and the Michigan Forum of the NNEPA. Mr. Hart received a Bachelor of Science degree in history from Western Michigan University in 1962, and after graduation served four years active duty as an a line officer in the United States Navy. He continued active in the Naval Reserve while attending law school at George Washington University School of Law where he received a Doctor of Jursisprudence degree summa cum laude. Mr. Hart retired from the Naval Reserve as a Commander, JAG Corp. after 22 years of service. He was employed for seven years with the Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C., and taught tax law for twenty years at Southern Methodist University School of Law, in Dallas, Texas. During his years in Dallas he maintained a private law practice specializing in tax and estate planning. Mr. hart is the author of several articles published in the Journal of Taxation and Taxation For Lawyers. Mr. Hart, and his wife, the former Marilyn Mahan, reside in Charlotte, Michigan.
